Salvation Prayer
to receive Jesus Christ as Savior
Dear God in Heaven,
I come to You today, realizing that in my life,
I have sinned, and come short of Your glory.
I am so sorry that I sinned against You.
I repent of all of my sin, and I thank You for forgiving me of all of my sin.
I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord.
I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead, that I might be justified; just as if I had never sinned.
Lord Jesus, come into my heart and live in me now.
I believe that I receive eternal life through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.
And, that I am now made a new creation in Christ, born again of the Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus, A-men.
Holy Spirit Prayer
to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Heavenly Father, I am Your child for I believe in my heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead and I have confessed Him as my Lord.
Jesus said, "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those that ask Him." Therefore, I ask You now in the name of Jesus to fill me with the Holy Spirit. I step into the fullness and power that I desire in the name of Jesus. I confess that I am a Spirit - filled Christian believer. I therefore yield my vocal organs, and expect to speak in tongues, as the Holy Spirit prompts me, in the name of Jesus. Praise the Lord!
